Mark A. Pittman, Esq.,
Managing Partner
Mark Pittman’s 25-year career — as CPA, investment banker and business attorney — has focused on almost exclusively on representing entrepreneurs and family-owned businesses. Mr. Pittman enjoys long term relationships with his clients and helping them build their business.
He handles a broad range of business matters, including corporate formation, business contracts, financings, business sales and business turnarounds. In addition, he manages business litigation for the firm’s clients.
Mr. Pittman began his career in the small business division of Arthur Andersen, and obtained his CPA credentials in 1985. He was admitted to practice law in California in 1989, and worked at the Beverly Hills firm of Barab, Kline & Coate before founding Blackstone in 1998.
Mr. Pittman graduated cum laude from Miami University, Oxford Ohio in 1983 with a B.A. in accounting and obtained his J.D. from the UCLA School of Law in 1989. Mr. Pittman has been published in “Business Insider Magazine.”
James R. Zatolokin, Esq.
Mr. Zatolokin practices primarily in the areas of investment banking, venture capital, business brokering, business sales and purchases, capital raising and complex business transactions. He has represented corporations and other entities in a wide variety of industries and businesses from inception (including the choice of entity) through initial and start-up financing, venture capital, bank and/or secondary financings and sale of the entities.
He has significant experience with structuring strategic alliances and corporate partnering, managing mergers and acquisitions, capital formation and otherwise helping companies to grow and prosper.
Mr. Zatolokin also advises corporations and other entities on licensing, recapitalizations, executive compensation, distribution and sales agreements, and ongoing corporate and securities issues.
Mr. Zatolokin is a graduate of Michigan State University (B.A., Humanities) and the University of Michigan Law School (J.D.); and is a periodic lecturer at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Emerson College’s Los Angeles Film Intern Writing Program, FAMU Film School in Prague, Czech Republic, and the Lorenzo de Medici Institute in Florence, Italy.
